Behind the Scenes of a Cultural Celebration

In the lead-up to the Enlightened Heart Culture Week 2025, one volunteer took charge of coordinating transportation for overseas guests. She juggled flight schedules, managed airport pickups and drop-offs, and made sure every arriving performer or speaker was welcomed with warmth and clarity. Though the days were long, the satisfaction of seeing each guest safely settled into their accommodation—and later waving them off with gratitude—made every moment worthwhile. It wasn’t just about logistics; it was about hospitality, trust, and creating a smooth experience from start to finish.

A Voice in the Crowd 

During the January performances, one volunteer was part of the audience guidance and engagement team. While it may have seemed like a small task—pointing people to their seats, answering questions, and encouraging post-performance discussions—it turned out to be the emotional heart of the event. With gentle enthusiasm, she sparked conversations about music, culture, and spiritual teachings with audience members from all walks of life. "I didn’t just help people find their way," she said afterward. "I helped them feel something deeper."

We have collaborated with a range of esteemed organizations including Auckland Music Association (MAA), Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Auckland Live, Central Conservatory of Music, Hunan Chamber of Commerce, NEW ZEALAND MULTICULTURE AND ARTS EXCHANGE CENTRE，Padma Ati Buddhist Institute, Palpung Monastery, and more. We look forward to partnering with more like-minded organizations to work together towards shared goals.
